Attractions
We know that many guests are coming from out of town, and we would love for you to enjoy some good food, explore the island, and see some sites. If you would like to venture into some of the NYC boroughs, contact us, and we would be happy to make some suggestions (and see the Long Island Rail Road website). Below are some of our favorite things to do on Long Island.
Nature
If you are interested in getting out into nature, visit the Planting Fiends Arboretum, or check out the Long Island Green Belt Trail for some hikes.
Swimming/Sun
Although it won't be swimming weather in October, the beaches are quite pleasant this time of year! Our favorites are:
Shopping
Visit the largest high-end shopping mall in New York State (Roosevelt Field).
Huntington
We love going to Huntington, as this town has a lot of delicious restaurants, culture, and a beautiful park.
